It is easy to walk to shops, restaurants and sightseeing attractions. You don't need to use your car to visit the city during your stay. Your host Betty previously ran a successful English Bed and Breakfast in York, where she very much enjoyed welcoming guests from all over the world, some from the UK and others from the United States, the Far East including Japan and from many other countries.
